Dear Mr. President,
I join Christian Solidarity International in crying out for justice and compassion in Sudan. Internal civil strife has already destroyed too many lives. We cannot stand idly by when tens of thousands of women and children are enslaved. It is a crime against humanity that must be stopped! Please do everything in your power to see that a Commission to Monitor the Eradication of Slavery in Sudan is established. This Commission would be a weapon to combat slavery and give value to human life. I thank you for your time and consideration and know you will act with compassion and urgency in dealing with this great need. |
